Want to know how the Trash Cat Clothing Exchange works?

Is it a swap? Is it a sale? What the heck is it? I asked Josie of the Trash Cat Clothing Exchange gang how the event works. Here’s a primer if you’re planning to attend this Thursday:

The Trashcat Clothing Exchange is a pop-up shop that takes place in the wine bar at Sova (1359 H St. NE) the third Thursday of every month at 8 pm.  We sell or trade vintage clothing and good-condition trend pieces.  If you bring in items to trade, we’ll go through and pick out what we think we can sell and write you a voucher, which you can use to buy something new from our collection.

Later this week I’ll have a post on the Goodwill Fashionista blog about swapping, trading, and the do’s and don’ts. In the meantime, start combing those closets.

Oh, P.S., here’s your oblig. cat photo:

Shh! He's sleeping!
